Description

The Asians Urology Residents Course or AURC is an annual event jointly organised by the Urological Association of Asia (UAA) and American Urological Association (AUA) since 2016. Each year all 26 Asian national urological associations under UAA are invited to nominate three senior urological residents to attend this course, take the AUA exit exams and become AUA international residency members for one year. All AURC attendees regardless of whether they are nominated by their national bodies will also have online BJUI knowledge access for one year to help the learning process if they complete the course.

Objectives

  1. To provide a structured platform of education for senior asian Urological residents through the UAA and AUA.
  2. To promote and develop camaraderie, networking and collaboration among the senior asian urology
    residents which will carry into their urologic practice.
  3. To develop future leaders of the UAA and the Asian Urologic Community as a whole.

Target Audience

Senior Urological residents are invited to register for the three day course including exam.

Benefits

AURC targets the knowledge of the senior urology trainees by providing up-to-date interactive lectures being presented by residents for residents. Others will be given by regional and international experts in the field. This will provide a platform to quality assure the knowledge of the urology trainees, with conducting the American Urology Board Exam during the last day. This will provide the tool in assessing the theoretical knowledge among urology trainees in Asia and the Middle East.

Attendees will also have access to high quality online urological contents after AURC for one year free of charge.

Free 1 year international AUA residency membership and free excess to BJUI online.
